Bill Lover, originally from Detroit Michigan, I relocated
to Washington State in 1962. I have lived in Yakima for more than 25 years, and have been married to my wife Cheryll for more than 40 years. We have five adult children. I am a graduate
of YVC & Central Washington University; I served 23 years
in the military, and am a Vietnam veteran (USMC & USAF).
I am also retired from the Boeing Company, and I believe my
many years as a quality assurance manager has taught me, that
when establishing policy and making difficult decisions, it's
critical thinking skills, and the ability to ask the tough
questions that's important. I hope to extend this type of
attitude and thinking to our City's Economic, Health & Safety,
Growth Management, and Fiscal Policies.
