Food and Fun This Fall at Harman Center

Don’t be a couch potato. Plan to attend this year’s Harman Center baked potato feed on Tuesday, October 21st. The start of fall is a perfect time to enjoy a warm baked potato with all the fixings, and a beverage. The big event starts at 5:30 pm and the cost is $8.00 per person. Tickets for this popular function are on sale now at the Harman Center, located at 101 N. 65th Avenue in Yakima.

Yakima Valley Seniors Inc., a non-profit group that supports activities and programs at the Harman Center, is also sponsoring two other fund raising events in early November.

The 11th Annual Harman Center Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 1st. Dozens of vendors will be selling new, homemade and one-of-a kind items inside the Harman Center from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch will also be available for sale during the bazaar.

On Thursday, November 6th, volunteers from Seniors Inc. will be serving homemade apple crisp with ice cream from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. The cost for the apple crisp and ice cream social is $5.00 per person.
