Traffic on two sections of 1st Street will be impacted on October 1st while repairs are made to the roadway surface. The 1100 to 1200 block of North 1st Street and the 500 to 600 block of South 1st Street will both be reduced to one lane in each direction while the road repair projects are underway.
The projects will begin at 7:00 am on Thursday, October 1st and should be completed by about 3:30 pm that same day. Flaggers will be on hand to help drivers navigate the project areas, but drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible until the projects are completed.
Access to businesses in the project areas will be maintained as best as possible. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project areas as necessary.
As always, schedules for these types of projects are subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
