Shoulder Repair Project to Impact Traffic on Lincoln Avenue

A roadway shoulder repair project on Lincoln Avenue will result in the closure of the westbound lane of Lincoln between 56th Avenue and 63rd Avenue for most of the day on Monday, October 13th.

The closure of that portion of the westbound lane on Lincoln will last from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm while the project is underway. Flaggers will be on site to allow one lane of traffic through the project area at a time. Detour routes around the project area will be available on both Englewood Avenue and Summitview Avenue.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be impacted, but will be maintained when possible. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.

For additional information about this project, contact Streets and Traffic Operations Manager Joe Rosenlund at 576-6430.
