The goal of the Yakima Police Athletic League wrestling team, the FURY is to develop confidence, self-reliance, discipline and respect while stressing the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Open to all kids ages five to eighteen, and all levels of wrestling experience, Fury Wrestling is one of YPAL’s largest and most successful programs.  It is also the program with the most parental involvement.

Wrestling season begins in October, with USA Wrestling, which includes Freestyle, Greco Roman and collegiate style wrestling.  Each spring we participate in the Washington Little Guy Wrestling Association with tournaments each weekend, concluding in April with the state tournament.  Little Guy wrestling is open to all ages of wrestlers.

As one of our largest programs, Fury Wrestling is fortunate to have a cadre of several outstanding coaches.  Our coaching staff has over forty years of wrestling coaching and officiating experience.
