Wheelchair Accessibility All of Yakima Transit’s buses kneel to accommodate walkers and those who have difficulty climbing stairs. Yakima Transit routes are designated as “Accessible” and have lift-equipped buses in order to accommodate passengers using mobility devices, such as wheelchairs.

Public transportation options The Community Connector (People for People) operates in Yakima County from 6 am to 8 pm and travels from Yakima to Prosser and back several times each weekday. Contact People for People at 457-1111 for route and schedule information.
