Community members are able to watch the meetings live on Y-PAC, Charter Spectrum Channel 194, via Zoom, and by livestream on the City website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe City is adapting to the COVID-19 emergency as it evolves,\u201d said City Communications &amp; Public Affairs Director Randy Beehler.&nbsp; \u201cThe return to Zoom meetings is a reasonable next step in the City\u2019s ongoing efforts to continue to provide vital services to the community while helping contain the spread of COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public is welcome to provide remote public comment on items listed on the meeting agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/council\/public-comment\/\">Public Comment | City Council (yakimawa.gov)<\/a>&nbsp;to find information and requirements for signing up to provide public comment on agenda items. The link includes a Public Comment Request Form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regular City Council meeting agendas are typically available the Friday afternoon prior to the Tuesday meeting. Meeting agendas are posted online at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/council\/agendas-and-minutes\/\">Agendas and Minutes | City Council (yakimawa.gov)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other options to provide public comment to the City Council include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Email the Council (preferred) at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov\">ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov<\/a><\/li><li>Send comments by postal mail to<br>Yakima City Council<br>129 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA 98901<\/li><li>Call 509-575-6050 (during business hours)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima City Council meetings were held via telephone and Zoom after the state instituted safety protocols in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Yakima City Hall re-opened to the public in June 2021 when COVID-19 cases declined in Yakima County and around the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima City Hall, and all City facilities, currently remain open to the public.
