{"id":11276,"date":"2021-11-03T11:30:16","date_gmt":"2021-11-03T18:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=11276"},"modified":"2021-11-03T11:30:16","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T18:30:16","slug":"city-offers-one-stop-site-for-housing-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/city-offers-one-stop-site-for-housing-information\/","title":{"rendered":"City Offers One-Stop Site for Housing Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The City of Yakima\u2019s housing action plan, results of a housing survey and monthly statistics for building permits issued and new residential units completed are just a few of the links on the Planning Division\u2019s recently updated housing information page at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/services\/planning\/housing\/\">Housing Information | Planning Division (yakimawa.gov)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The page also includes links to quarterly housing action plan reports provided to the Yakima City Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate the community\u2019s help in telling us about their housing needs,\u201d said Planning Manager Joseph Calhoun. \u201cThe goal of our housing page is a one-stop site for City housing information, as well as to support and encourage new housing production to provide more housing choices and address local needs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The page is also linked in a new \u201cPoint of Interest\u201d at the top of the City of Yakima website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\">www.yakimawa.gov<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Yakima continues to see growth in housing. During the third quarter of 2021 (July \u2013 Sept) the Planning Division reported completion of 102 new residential housing units, resulting in 231 new living units and\/or bedrooms.
