Starting today, the Yakima Health District mobile vaccine teams will begin administering Pfizer COVID-19 booster doses to all adults 18 years and older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individuals who received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine can receive a booster dose after six months have passed since completing their primary COVID-19 vaccination series. For those that received the Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine, they can receive a booster dose after two months have passed since completing their primary COVID-19 vaccination series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the CDC, mixing and matching boosters is safe and effective. Individuals can choose which COVID-19 vaccine they receive for their booster dose.
