{"id":11594,"date":"2022-02-24T10:32:45","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T18:32:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=11594"},"modified":"2022-02-24T10:32:46","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T18:32:46","slug":"water-project-to-close-section-of-englewood-ave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/water-project-to-close-section-of-englewood-ave\/","title":{"rendered":"Water Project to Close Section of Englewood Ave"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Work on a 30-inch water transmission main will close a section of Englewood Avenue beginning Monday, February 28<sup>th<\/sup>, and continuing through early April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Englewood Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between North 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue and North 34<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.&nbsp; The closure will remain in place all hours of the weekdays and weekends for the duration of the project. Detours will be in place to route traffic around the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local access to residents and businesses will be maintained. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project includes installation of a new valve on an existing 30-inch concrete cylinder pipe water transmission main. TTC Construction, Inc. of Yakima will begin excavation on Monday, February 28<sup>th<\/sup>.
