{"id":11795,"date":"2022-04-27T10:28:35","date_gmt":"2022-04-27T17:28:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=11795"},"modified":"2022-04-27T11:01:30","modified_gmt":"2022-04-27T18:01:30","slug":"road-project-to-close-section-of-englewood-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/road-project-to-close-section-of-englewood-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Road Project to Close Section of Englewood Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A section of Englewood Avenue will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, April 28<sup>th<\/sup>, for an asphalt removal and replacement project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Englewood Avenue will be closed between 53<sup>rd<\/sup> Avenue and 56<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour route will be in effect during the closure. Flaggers will be on site to assist drivers around the closed section of Englewood Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local access for emergency vehicles and residents in the project work area will be provided during the closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of heavy traffic volume, drivers can expect delays in the project area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closure may cause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
