{"id":11850,"date":"2022-05-10T15:32:41","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T22:32:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=11850"},"modified":"2022-05-10T15:32:42","modified_gmt":"2022-05-10T22:32:42","slug":"wastewater-system-work-to-restrict-traffic-on-south-1st-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wastewater-system-work-to-restrict-traffic-on-south-1st-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Wastewater System Work to Restrict Traffic on South 1st Street"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Wastewater system work will result in the closure tonight of southbound lanes along a portion of South 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street.&nbsp; The project will also impact traffic during part of the day tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A section of the southbound lanes of 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street just south of Mead Avenue will be closed from 9:00 pm tonight, Tuesday, May 10<sup>th<\/sup>, until 5:00 am tomorrow, Wednesday, May 11<sup>th<\/sup>. &nbsp;A detour route will be in place while the project is underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tomorrow beginning at 5:00 am, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction within the project area.&nbsp; The project is expected to be completed by 4:00 pm tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to heavy traffic volumes on South 1<sup>st <\/sup>Street, drivers can expect delays.
