Flaggers and signs will be in place to assist drivers with detours. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grinding activities began the evening of Monday, October 17th, for the project segment between 40<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 48<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.&nbsp;Once the grinding is complete, temporary pavement markings will be placed while the contractor completes all preparation work for paving activities in the coming weeks.&nbsp; Daytime traffic control will include cones to delineate the center line, and paint for lane lines.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are asked to please use caution between 40<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 48<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue,&#8221; said Construction Supervisor Bruce Floyd. &#8220;The public&#8217;s continued patience during this roadway improvement project is greatly appreciated.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.
