Click <a href=\"https:\/\/yakima.novusagenda.com\/agendapublic\/CoverSheet.aspx?ItemID=9890&amp;MeetingID=1058\">Coversheet (novusagenda.com)<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/yakima.novusagenda.com\/agendapublic\/CoverSheet.aspx?ItemID=9605&amp;MeetingID=1055\"><\/a> for the report covering Clean City activities July through September 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Yakima developed \u201cClean City\u201d as a program in 2019. The main objectives of the Clean City program is to specifically address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visual blight (trash, graffiti, dangerous building, abandoned vehicles, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unscheduled collection of waste and litter from the City\u2019s public areas\/thoroughfares<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expediting the clean-up of such illegal dumps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleaning up homeless encampments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting Yakima Police Department officers in unlawful camping enforcement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing coordination with neighborhoods for annual clean-up events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating educational components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engaging with community partners and volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Clean City, under the direction of the City\u2019s Public Works Division, coordinates the efforts of several City departments.
