{"id":13154,"date":"2023-05-04T11:03:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-04T18:03:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13154"},"modified":"2023-05-04T11:03:35","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T18:03:35","slug":"project-to-close-section-of-64th-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/project-to-close-section-of-64th-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Project to Close Section of 64th Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An asphalt grinding project will require the temporary closure of a section of 64<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue next Monday through Friday, May 8<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 12<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, 64<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will be closed between Nob Hill Boulevard and Washington Avenue 24 hours a day, May 8<sup>th<\/sup> through 12<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible. Access will also be maintained to the shopping center in the project area and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the area if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project may cause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
