{"id":13427,"date":"2023-06-30T11:30:10","date_gmt":"2023-06-30T18:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13427"},"modified":"2023-06-30T11:38:16","modified_gmt":"2023-06-30T18:38:16","slug":"city-water-treatment-plant-back-in-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/city-water-treatment-plant-back-in-service\/","title":{"rendered":"City Water Treatment Plant Back in Service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The City of Yakima\u2019s Naches River Water Treatment Plant is back in service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thundershowers in the Cascades this past week created extremely high turbidity (dirty water) in the Naches River, causing the Naches River Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to temporarily shut down operation. Domestic water supply was being provided from the City\u2019s four wells. Nob Hill Water Association also helped by providing some additional water through a system intertie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weather in the Cascades has cleared, with no additional thundershowers over the past day.
