{"id":13519,"date":"2023-07-21T09:42:45","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T16:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13519"},"modified":"2023-07-28T15:57:00","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T22:57:00","slug":"nob-hill-blvd-72nd-ave-intersection-to-close-overnight-for-waterline-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/nob-hill-blvd-72nd-ave-intersection-to-close-overnight-for-waterline-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Nob Hill Blvd, 72nd Ave Intersection to Close Overnight for Waterline Work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Overnight closures of the Nob Hill Boulevard\/72<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue intersection will be required during the next two weeks for a Nob Hill Water Association project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Closures will be 7:00 pm to 5:00 am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, July 23<sup>rd<\/sup>-27<sup>th<\/sup> and July 30<sup>th<\/sup>-August 3<sup>rd<\/sup>. The project is expected to be complete by the morning of Friday, August 4<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closures will allow crews from Nob Hill Water Association to replace aging water lines at the intersection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to properties in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.
