The intersection will close at 7:00 pm Thursday, August 16<sup>th<\/sup>, and re-open 6:00 am Friday, August 17<sup>th<\/sup>. The overnight closure was originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, but crews were unable to complete the required work due to rains over the weekend oversaturating the work areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project to grind and overlay Nob Hill Boulevard from 13<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue to 29<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue began on June 26th and is expected to last until mid-October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to properties in the project area are being maintained as best as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Thursday&#8217;s overnight closure at Nob Hill Boulevard and 16<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue, drivers are reminded that intermittent lane closures continue in the project area during work hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.
