{"id":13607,"date":"2023-08-31T09:47:06","date_gmt":"2023-08-31T16:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13607"},"modified":"2023-08-31T09:47:06","modified_gmt":"2023-08-31T16:47:06","slug":"city-of-yakima-announces-labor-day-closures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/city-of-yakima-announces-labor-day-closures\/","title":{"rendered":"City of Yakima Announces Labor Day Closures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Most of the City of Yakima&#8217;s services and facilities will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 4<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That includes City Hall, Public Works, Y-PAC, and Parks and Recreation offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Yakima Municipal Court will also be closed. Emergency services will remain available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima Transit will not provide bus service Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City&#8217;s Harman Center will be closed Saturday, September 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, and Monday, September 4<sup>th<\/sup>, for the holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Monday, September 4<sup>th<\/sup>. Garbage collection service schedules by the City&#8217;s Refuse Division will be delayed by one day next week.
