{"id":13789,"date":"2023-11-02T15:42:13","date_gmt":"2023-11-02T22:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13789"},"modified":"2023-11-02T15:42:14","modified_gmt":"2023-11-02T22:42:14","slug":"lincoln-avenue-lane-closures-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/lincoln-avenue-lane-closures-extended\/","title":{"rendered":"Lincoln Avenue Lane Closures Extended"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lane closures for a 2-block stretch of Lincoln Avenue continue the next two weeks for an ongoing stormwater project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lincoln Avenue is one lane each direction between 34<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 36<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm each day this week, today, Thursday, Nov. 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, through Thursday, November 16<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, 35<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will continue to be closed to all traffic on the north side of Lincoln Avenue. This closure extends into the overnight hours through November 28<sup>th<\/sup>. However, access is being maintained for properties in the area as well as emergency vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lane closures on Lincoln Avenue began Monday, October 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.
