{"id":13822,"date":"2023-11-15T08:17:51","date_gmt":"2023-11-15T16:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13822"},"modified":"2023-11-15T08:28:24","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T16:28:24","slug":"community-christmas-tree-sought-for-downtown-yakima-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/community-christmas-tree-sought-for-downtown-yakima-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Christmas Tree Sought for Downtown Yakima"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The search is on for Yakima&#8217;s Community Christmas Tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Yakima and the Downtown Association of Yakima (DAY) are asking area residents to consider donating a tree from their property for the annual holiday festivities in Downtown Yakima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To nominate your tree as the Community Christmas Tree, call Cally Price, the Assistant to the City Manager, at 509-575-6040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is anticipated crews will arrive to remove the tree during the week of November 20<sup>th<\/sup>, transporting it to Millennium Plaza for installation.
