{"id":13852,"date":"2023-11-21T12:47:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T20:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=13852"},"modified":"2023-11-21T12:47:32","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T20:47:32","slug":"community-christmas-tree-arrives-november-27th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/community-christmas-tree-arrives-november-27th\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Christmas Tree Arrives November 27th"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Preparations are under way for the arrival of Yakima&#8217;s Community Christmas Tree on Monday, November 27<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Downtown Association of Yakima (DAY) crew in partnership with the City of Yakima Public Works Division, Russell Crane and Carrell Crane will secure a tree provided by Yakima area residents Barry and Jan Rosenkranz, move the tree to Millennium Plaza, and place the tree into the ground next Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is anticipated the tree will be transported Monday morning between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, which may impact traffic from 40<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and Fruitvale Boulevard to North 5<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and Yakima Avenue to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tree will be delivered to Millennium Plaza on Monday afternoon. Third Street between Yakima Avenue and Chestnut Avenue will be temporarily closed to accommodate the tree installation.
