Residents can schedule an appointment with the City\u2019s Refuse Division for tree pick up by calling 509-575-6005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost is $10.00 for trees up to 5 feet and $15.00 for trees greater than 5 feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taller trees need to be cut in half before pick-up. If residents have more than one tree they need to call the Refuse Division to schedule a special haul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also a Christmas tree recycling opportunity that benefits a local non-profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camp Prime Time offers a Christmas tree recycling service to benefit its recreational facility for families who have a child with a serious or terminal illness or is developmentally disabled. Christmas trees can be taken to Pape Machinery Agriculture and Turf (formerly Washington Tractor), 3110 Fruitvale Boulevard, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm through January 7th. Financial donations are accepted to benefit Camp Prime Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This tree recycling service is provided by Camp Prime Time Volunteers, Pap\u00e9 Agriculture &amp; Turf, All American Propane, DTG Recycle, Pacific Power, Stripe Rite, Yakima Theatres, Trickinnex Tree Trimming &amp; Falling, LLC, Cliff\u2019s Septic, City of Yakima Refuse Division, Yakima County Public Services \u2013 Solid Waste Division, FOX and KIMA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/campprimetime.org\/events\/#ChristmasTreeRecycling\">Events &#8211; Camp Prime Time<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/campprimetime.org\/specialevents.html\"><\/a>for more about Camp Prime Time\u2019s Christmas tree recycling program.
