{"id":14317,"date":"2024-05-15T10:00:04","date_gmt":"2024-05-15T17:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=14317"},"modified":"2024-05-15T10:00:05","modified_gmt":"2024-05-15T17:00:05","slug":"project-at-48th-and-washington-to-impact-traffic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/project-at-48th-and-washington-to-impact-traffic\/","title":{"rendered":"Project at 48th and Washington to Impact Traffic"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An acceleration lane update will impact traffic this Thursday, May 16<sup>th<\/sup>, at the intersection of Washington Avenue and 48<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A City of Yakima Signs and Markings crew will install raised pavement markings for the acceleration lane at the intersection from 8:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday. Traffic on South 48<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will be right turn only on to Washington. Traffic on Washington will be one lane each direction during the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City crews installed an acceleration lane at the intersection in October 2022.
