It is anticipated that the section of Lewis Avenue will be a one-way street by Friday, September 13<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yakima City Council approved the Lewis Avenue change during its meeting on July 16<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The change to one-way traffic southbound on Lewis Avenue between Lincoln Avenue and Folsom Avenue was prompted by recent housing developments in the area.
