{"id":14857,"date":"2024-11-15T08:51:58","date_gmt":"2024-11-15T16:51:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=14857"},"modified":"2024-11-15T08:51:59","modified_gmt":"2024-11-15T16:51:59","slug":"lane-closures-planned-on-i-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/lane-closures-planned-on-i-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Lane Closures Planned on I Street"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The west half of I Street will be closed from 1<sup>St<\/sup> Street west to the alley for about three months starting Monday, Nov. 18<sup>th<\/sup>, for work on Phase 3 of the North 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street Revitalization Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lane closures will be in effect 24\/7 starting Monday. It\u2019s estimated the west half of I Street will re-open the second week of February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the traffic signal at I Street and N. 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street will be flashing red during the lane closures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access will be maintained to properties in the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After work is complete on the west half of I Street early next year, crews will move to the east side of I Street to complete the rebuild of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street\/I Street intersection.
