{"id":14860,"date":"2024-11-15T14:13:14","date_gmt":"2024-11-15T22:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=14860"},"modified":"2024-11-15T14:13:15","modified_gmt":"2024-11-15T22:13:15","slug":"intermittent-closures-planned-for-intersection-of-2nd-street-and-staff-sgt-pendleton-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/intermittent-closures-planned-for-intersection-of-2nd-street-and-staff-sgt-pendleton-way\/","title":{"rendered":"Intermittent Closures Planned for Intersection of 2nd Street and Staff Sgt Pendleton Way"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The following intermittent road closures are planned from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 18-19, near the intersection of 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street and Staff Sgt Pendleton Way:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street between Staff Sgt Pendleton Way and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff Sgt Pendleton Way between 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Intermittent closures are required as crews will be paving around new curbing recently installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City of Yakima crews began work last month removing and replacing sidewalks adjacent to the former Bank of America building. In addition, trees are being planted to replace ones previously removed due to damage they caused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A streetlight at the southwest corner of the intersection will be replaced.
