{"id":15273,"date":"2025-05-23T08:45:48","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T15:45:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=15273"},"modified":"2025-05-23T12:57:59","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T19:57:59","slug":"closures-planned-for-fruitvale-blvd-river-road-34th-ave-roundabout-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/closures-planned-for-fruitvale-blvd-river-road-34th-ave-roundabout-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Closures Planned for Fruitvale Blvd\/River Road\/34th Ave Roundabout Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The following road closures will be in place from 7:00 am Tuesday, May 27<sup>th<\/sup>, through the beginning of September due to roundabout construction at Fruitvale Boulevard\/River Road\/34<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fruitvale Boulevard at River Road and 34<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will be closed to all commercial truck traffic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>River Road access from Fruitvale Boulevard will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Detours will be posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access will be maintained to properties in the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to construction, Yakima Transit Route 3 will have a detour starting Tuesday, May 27th, until further notice. There will be no bus service on River Road between N. 34th Avenue and N. 20th Avenue.
