The CAWG\u2019s goal is to recommend a workable solution or set of solutions to meet the travel needs of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hodgman received his invitation to join the CAWG last Friday, May 23rd<\/sup>. He will serve as one of 11 non-voting members of the work group, which has 19 voting members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hodgman was a member of CAWG\u2019s predecessor, the Commercial Aviation Coordinating Commission (CACC), created by the Legislature to develop recommendations to address the state\u2019s critical aviation system capacity needs. He also served as the CACC\u2019s lead planner and is familiar with the challenges the CAWG faces. The CAWG was developed by the Legislature when CACC\u2019s work was completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hodgman has been Yakima\u2019s airport director since March 2023<\/a>.
