{"id":1536,"date":"2014-03-21T11:17:14","date_gmt":"2014-03-21T18:17:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=1536"},"modified":"2014-03-21T11:17:14","modified_gmt":"2014-03-21T18:17:14","slug":"sewer-line-extension-project-affect-drivers-mid-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/sewer-line-extension-project-affect-drivers-mid-april\/","title":{"rendered":"Sewer Line Extension Project to Affect Drivers Until Mid April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A project to extend an industrial waste sewer line will result in the closure of a section of 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street on March 24<sup>th<\/sup> and 25<sup>th<\/sup> and a portion of Nob Hill Boulevard from March 26<sup>th<\/sup> through April 16<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>From Monday, March 24<sup>th<\/sup> through Tuesday, March 25<sup>th<\/sup>, 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street between Nob Hill and Ranch Rite \u00a0 Road will be closed from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm each day while the sewer line is installed and the roadway is repaired.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning Wednesday, March 26<sup>th<\/sup> through Wednesday, April 16<sup>th<\/sup>, nighttime closures of Nob Hill between 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street and 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street will occur.\u00a0 That section of Nob Hill will be closed from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am each night while the sewer pipeline is installed and the roadway is repaired.\u00a0 Nob Hill will be open to traffic during daytime hours.<\/p>\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.\u00a0 Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be impacted, but will be maintained when possible. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>P.O.W.
