This will require closing the west side of the intersection at South 72<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue and West Washington Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access will be maintained to properties in the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic delays in the project area are likely to occur.&nbsp;Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The $1.47 million project is funded by the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board and money appropriated by the Washington State Legislature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Culbert Construction, Inc. of Pasco is the project contractor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phase 1 of this project began June 16<sup>th<\/sup>, and the roundabout is expected to be complete in November.
