The Summitview and 16<sup>th<\/sup> intersection will be a 4-way stop, with flashing red signal both nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lane closures are needed so Cascade Natural Gas crews can relocate an existing gas service line just east of the intersection. The project is expected to be complete Tuesday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones, look out for workers and follow the posted speed limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Call Construction Inspector Josh Gaub at 509-576-6464 for more about the project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work at the intersection of Summitview Avenue and 16th Avenue will require overnight lane closures tonight, Monday, and Tuesday, Sept. 29-30.
