Residents are invited to nominate evergreen trees from their property to become the centerpiece of the holiday festivities in downtown Yakima.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible trees should be well-shaped evergreens, standing 15 to 25 feet tall, with easy access for removal. The ideal tree will be situated in an area that can accommodate a 25-foot by 45-foot crane and nearby space for a 35-foot trailer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominations are open. A final selection will be made by Friday, Nov. 14. The selected tree will be cut and lifted by crane, not felled, ensuring a safe and efficient removal process.
