Many of the City of Yakima\u2019s facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27th<\/sup> and 28th<\/sup>, for the Thanksgiving holiday. That includes City Hall, Y-PAC, and Parks and Recreation offices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yakima Municipal Court as well as business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the City\u2019s Harman Center will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Nov. 27-29, in observance of Thanksgiving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lions Pool will be closed on Thanksgiving and re-open on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yakima Transit will not provide bus service Thanksgiving Day but will operate its normal schedule on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be no City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Thursday, Nov. 27th<\/sup>. Garbage scheduled for pick-up on Thursday by the City\u2019s Refuse Division will instead be collected Friday, Nov. 28th<\/sup>. Garbage pick-up scheduled for Friday will be collected Saturday, Nov. 29th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is recommended that residents have their carts set out by 6:00 am for the day of their refuse pick-up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
