{"id":16177,"date":"2026-06-15T13:43:53","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T20:43:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=16177"},"modified":"2026-06-15T13:43:53","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T20:43:53","slug":"closure-of-part-of-south-32nd-ave-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/closure-of-part-of-south-32nd-ave-extended\/","title":{"rendered":"Closure of Part of South 32nd Ave Extended"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Water line work will result in the extension of a temporary closure of a portion of South 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue through June 16<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am and last until 3:30 pm each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the project is underway, 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue between Tieton Drive and Webster Avenue will be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to heavy traffic volumes on South 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue, drivers can expect delays. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed. Detours around the construction site will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The repairs may cause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
