Paving activities will result in the closure of Arlington Street and South 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street next week between South 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street, South 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street, and Naches Avenue. The closure duration is from Monday, May 5<sup>th<\/sup> through Tuesday, May 6<sup>th<\/sup>. Paving activities will move to the north\/south alley between South 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street and South 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street resulting in closure of the alley, from Wednesday, May 7<sup>th<\/sup> to Thursday, May 15<sup>th<\/sup>. Paving activities will occur on Nob Hill Boulevard resulting in nighttime closures, from Monday, May 12<sup>th<\/sup> through Tuesday, May 13<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the industrial waste sewer extension project, a domestic sanitary sewer main is also being rehabilitated between Ranch Rite Road and Arlington Street. Work is anticipated to begin the night of Monday, May 5<sup>th<\/sup> and continue through Thursday night, May 8<sup>th<\/sup>. On Wednesday night, May 7<sup>th<\/sup>, Nob Hill Boulevard will be closed between South 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street and South 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street. On the nights of Monday, May 5<sup>th<\/sup> and Thursday, May 8<sup>th<\/sup>, Arlington Street will be closed between South 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street and Naches Avenue. Construction activities may temporarily affect homeowners and businesses adjacent to the project area. Property owners will be notified a minimum of 24 hours prior to any service disruption.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning the week of Monday, May 12<sup>th<\/sup>, the industrial waste sewer line extension project will result in a one-lane closure of North 1<sup>st<\/sup> Avenue halfway between Quince Street and Poplar Street. The closure duration is anticipated to be from Monday, May 12<sup>th<\/sup> through Thursday, May 15<sup>th<\/sup>. Following pipe installation, concrete surface restoration will occur on North 1<sup>st<\/sup> Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>During the projects, traffic delays in the areas are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the projects are completed.<\/p>\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the project areas will be impacted, but will be maintained when possible. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project areas if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the schedule for these types of projects is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>P.O.W.
