{"id":2899,"date":"2015-08-29T10:25:56","date_gmt":"2015-08-29T17:25:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=2899"},"modified":"2015-08-28T16:27:43","modified_gmt":"2015-08-28T23:27:43","slug":"road-improvement-project-will-close-section-of-pacific-avenue-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/road-improvement-project-will-close-section-of-pacific-avenue-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Road Improvement Project Will Close Section of Pacific Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning on Monday, August 31<sup>st<\/sup>, the section of Pacific Avenue between 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street and 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street will be closed to traffic for about one week while a road improvement project is underway.<\/p>\n<p>The project is expected to be completed by Friday, September 4<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Throughout the project, Pacific Avenue between 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street and 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street will be closed from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.\u00a0 That section of Pacific Avenue will be open to local traffic overnight during the project.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes grinding and overlaying the road surface along the section of Pacific Avenue, from 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street to 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street. The intersections of 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street and Pacific Avenue and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street and Pacific Avenue will be closed.
