{"id":3598,"date":"2016-06-16T10:18:38","date_gmt":"2016-06-16T17:18:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=3598"},"modified":"2016-06-16T10:18:38","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T17:18:38","slug":"road-repairs-nob-hill-impact-traffic-overnight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/road-repairs-nob-hill-impact-traffic-overnight\/","title":{"rendered":"Road Repairs on Nob Hill to Impact Traffic Overnight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A project to repair damage to a section of Nob Hill Boulevard caused by a water main break earlier this year will impact traffic in and near the project area overnight on Thursday, June 16<sup>th<\/sup> and Friday, June 17<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>An 85-foot section of the eastbound lanes of Nob Hill between Rock Avenue and Ledwich Avenue will be removed and replaced.\u00a0 Work on the project will begin at 9:00 pm on June 16<sup>th<\/sup> and conclude by 7:00 am on June 17<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The project is being done overnight in order to lessen its impact on traffic.<\/p>\n<p>While the project is underway, eastbound traffic will be rerouted to a turn lane that runs the length of the project area.\u00a0 The sidewalk on the south side of Nob Hill from Rock Avenue east for about a block will be closed during the project work hours.<\/p>\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.\u00a0 Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.\u00a0 Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information about this project, contact Construction Supervisor Bruce Floyd at 575-6138.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Road-Repair-Project-on-Nob-Hill-News-Release.pdf\">Road Repair Project on Nob Hill &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A project to repair damage to a section of Nob Hill Boulevard caused by a water main break earlier this year will impact traffic in and near the project area overnight on Thursday, June 16th and Friday, June 17th.
