{"id":3736,"date":"2016-08-17T14:14:42","date_gmt":"2016-08-17T21:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=3736"},"modified":"2016-08-17T14:14:42","modified_gmt":"2016-08-17T21:14:42","slug":"codesplanning-customer-service-center-close-friday-noon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/codesplanning-customer-service-center-close-friday-noon\/","title":{"rendered":"Codes\/Planning Customer Service Center to Close Friday at Noon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The customer service center on the second floor of Yakima City Hall which provides codes, planning, and permit services to the public will close at noon on Friday, August 19<sup>th<\/sup> while renovation work is completed.<\/p>\n<p>The City\u2019s Engineering Division customer service counter, which is located across the hallway from the Codes\/Planning counter, will remain open on Friday, August 19<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the Codes\/Planning Customer Service Center at City Hall will close at noon on August 19<sup>th<\/sup>, building inspection requests will still be able to be submitted through the City online permit center by clicking on the following link &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/ci-yakima-wa.smartgovcommunity.com\/Public\/Home\">https:\/\/ci-yakima-wa.smartgovcommunity.com\/Public\/Home<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know that the temporary closure of the center at noon on August 19<sup>th<\/sup> may result in some inconvenience for our customers,\u201d said Code Administration Manager Joe Caruso.\u00a0 \u201cWe ask them to be patient while renovation of the customer service area is completed.\u00a0 Once the renovations of the center are finished, we are confident that customers will appreciate the improved service that we\u2019ll be able to provide,\u201d said Caruso.<\/p>\n<p>The Codes\/Planning Customer Service Center will return to operating during normal business hours on Monday, August 22<sup>nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Codes-Planning-Customer-Service-Center-Temporary-Closure-News-Release-2.pdf\">Codes-Planning Customer Service Center Temporary Closure &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The customer service center on the second floor of Yakima City Hall which provides codes, planning, and permit services to the public will close at noon on Friday, August 19th while renovation work is completed.
