Front Street.\u00a0 The 22<sup>nd<\/sup> Annual Yakima Fire Department Spaghetti Feed will get underway at 4:00 pm and will run until about 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature spaghetti, salad, and bread at a cost of $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for seniors and kids.\u00a0 Pie will also be for sale at $1.00 per slice.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from this year\u2019s spaghetti feed will benefit the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation.\u00a0 The foundation was founded in 1987 as a 501c3 charity to provide funding for burn research, prevention, and education; as well as care and counseling for burn victims and their families.\u00a0 It is operated solely by firefighters who volunteer their time.\u00a0 Events organized by firefighters, like fun runs, golf tournaments, spaghetti feeds, etc., provide the primary funding for the foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The Yakima spaghetti feed is jointly organized by the Yakima Fire Department and the Yakima Firefighters Association \u2013 IAFF Local 469.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Annual-Yakima-Fire-Department-Spaghetti-Feed-News-Release.pdf\">Annual Yakima Fire Department Spaghetti Feed &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, October 12th, the Yakima Fire Department will once again host a spaghetti feed at the department\u2019s headquarters, Fire Station 91, located at 401 N.
