{"id":4325,"date":"2017-04-25T15:43:17","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T22:43:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=4325"},"modified":"2017-04-25T15:43:17","modified_gmt":"2017-04-25T22:43:17","slug":"manhole-project-impact-traffic-nob-hill-29th-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/manhole-project-impact-traffic-nob-hill-29th-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Manhole Project to Impact Traffic on Nob Hill and on 29th Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A project to replace a manhole ring and cover will impact traffic in the area near the intersection of Nob Hill Boulevard and 29<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue for most of the morning on Wednesday, April 26<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>City of Yakima Wastewater Division crews will be working on the project between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm on April 26<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The manhole that will have its ring and cover replaced is located in the Nob Hill Boulevard and 29<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue intersection.\u00a0 While the project is underway, the inside, westbound lane of Nob Hill between 28<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 30<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will be closed.\u00a0 Drivers will still be able to use the outside, westbound lane along that section of Nob Hill.\u00a0 Also, 29<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue between Nob Hill and Bonnie Doone Avenue will only be open to local traffic until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.\u00a0 Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained and traffic will be allowed through the project area when possible.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information about this project, contact Wastewater Collections Supervisor Bob Brown at 406-7103.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Manhole-Ring-and-Cover-Replacement-News-Release-3.pdf\">Manhole Ring and Cover Replacement &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A project to replace a manhole ring and cover will impact traffic in the area near the intersection of Nob Hill Boulevard and 29th Avenue for most of the morning on Wednesday, April 26th.
