{"id":4506,"date":"2017-07-18T15:05:30","date_gmt":"2017-07-18T22:05:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=4506"},"modified":"2017-07-18T15:05:30","modified_gmt":"2017-07-18T22:05:30","slug":"road-repair-project-impact-traffic-browne-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/road-repair-project-impact-traffic-browne-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Road Repair Project to Impact Traffic on Browne Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A road repair project will impact traffic on a section of Browne Avenue for most of each day from Wednesday, July 19<sup>th<\/sup> through Thursday, July 27<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the project, the section of Browne between Hall Avenue and Custer Avenue will be closed from July 19<sup>th<\/sup> through July 27<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Work on the project will take place from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm each day.\u00a0 Detour routes around the project area will be available and will be marked with appropriate signage.\u00a0 Flaggers will also be on site to help drivers navigate around the work area.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.\u00a0 Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Access to homes in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information about this project, contact Streets and Traffic Operations Manager Joe Rosenlund at 576-6430.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Browne-Avenue-Road-Repair-Project-News-Release.pdf\">Browne Avenue Road Repair Project &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A road repair project will impact traffic on a section of Browne Avenue for most of each day from Wednesday, July 19th through Thursday, July 27th.
