{"id":4623,"date":"2017-08-08T15:03:25","date_gmt":"2017-08-08T22:03:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=4623"},"modified":"2017-08-08T15:03:25","modified_gmt":"2017-08-08T22:03:25","slug":"sidewalk-repair-project-impact-traffic-summitview-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/sidewalk-repair-project-impact-traffic-summitview-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Sidewalk Repair Project to Impact Traffic on Summitview Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A sidewalk repair project will impact traffic on a section of Summitview Avenue for most of each day on Wednesday, August 9<sup>th<\/sup> and Thursday, August 10<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the project, the outside, eastbound lane of Summitview will be closed to traffic from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm on both August 9<sup>th<\/sup> and August 10<sup>th<\/sup> in the area of 74<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and Summitview.\u00a0 Crews will be removing damaged sidewalk panels in that area on August 9<sup>th<\/sup> and pouring new sidewalk panels on August 10<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.\u00a0 Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Access to homes in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information about this project, contact Streets and Traffic Operations Manager Joe Rosenlund at 576-6430.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Summitview-Sidewalk-Repair-Project-News-Release.pdf\">Summitview Sidewalk Repair Project &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A sidewalk repair project will impact traffic on a section of Summitview Avenue for most of each day on Wednesday, August 9th and Thursday, August 10th.
