Front Street.<\/p>\n<p>The 23<sup>rd<\/sup> annual Yakima Fire Department Spaghetti Feed will get underway at 4:00 pm and will run until about 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature spaghetti, salad, and bread at a cost of $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for seniors and kids.\u00a0 Pie will also be for sale at $1.00 per slice.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from this year\u2019s spaghetti feed will benefit the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation.\u00a0 The foundation was founded in 1987 as a 501c3 charity to provide funding for burn research, prevention, and education; as well as care and counseling for burn victims and their families.<\/p>\n<p>It is operated solely by firefighters who volunteer their time.\u00a0 Events organized by firefighters, such as fun runs, golf tournaments, spaghetti feeds, etc., provide the primary funding for the foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The Yakima Spaghetti Feed is jointly organized by the Yakima Fire Department and the Yakima Firefighters Association \u2013 IAFF Local 469.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Yakima-Fire-Department-Spaghetti-Feed-News-Release.pdf\">Yakima Fire Department Spaghetti Feed &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, October 11th, the Yakima Fire Department will once again host a spaghetti feed at the department\u2019s headquarters, Fire Station 91, located at 401 N.
