Jay Inslee&#8217;s listening tour stop in Yakima on Thursday, October 5<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000\">, at the Fourth Street Theatre. It focused on gang violence and gun-related crimes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t want the Yakima area to be defined just by this challenge. There are so many positive things going on in this community today,&#8221; Inslee said. &#8220;This is a place with a great future and a great present that&#8217;s willing to step up to the plate and face this significant challenge.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Inslee&#8217;s listening tour airs at 5:30 pm tonight on Channel 194 and can be viewed on-line at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2yWWrk9\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/2yWWrk9<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The second event airing on Y-PAC is the Stop the Violence Forum held on Saturday, October 7<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000\">, at St. Joseph Catholic Parish. The featured speaker was Fr. Gregory J.
