{"id":5044,"date":"2017-10-24T14:43:42","date_gmt":"2017-10-24T21:43:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=5044"},"modified":"2017-10-24T14:43:42","modified_gmt":"2017-10-24T21:43:42","slug":"fisher-park-wrapping-golf-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/fisher-park-wrapping-golf-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Fisher Park Wrapping Up Golf Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The golfing season is rapidly coming to a close at the City of Yakima&#8217;s Fisher Park Golf Course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8220;The last day the course will be open for play will be Monday, October 30<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000\">,&#8221; said Recreation Supervisor Tami Andringa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The course is located at 823 South 40<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000\"> Avenue, across from Eisenhower High School. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The typical hours of operation are 8:00 am to dusk, but that is subject to change, said Andringa. &#8220;As the mornings get colder, the frost may stay on the greens longer which means opening times may vary depending on the weather,&#8221; she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Golfers can get in their final rounds at a discount before the season closes. Thanks to a late-season special throughout the month of October, greens fees for adults at Fisher Park Golf Course are $7.00 for nine holes instead of the usual $9.25.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Other discounts still available include a Family Day after 3:00 pm this Sunday, October 29<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000\">, and Senior Day on Monday, October 30<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000\">, the final day Fisher Park Golf Course will be open for play this season.
