It is in effect today, Thursday, February 8<sup>th<\/sup>, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The NWS anticipates sustained winds between 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. Wind speeds are expected to peak this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>It cautions that tree limbs may break. Loose or unsecured objects may topple over or become airborne.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Yakima encourages residents and motorists to use extra caution during the wind advisory.<\/p>\n<p>If there are power outages, they can be reported 24\/7 to Pacific Power by calling 1-877-508-5088.
