Dunlop&#8217;s interview will also air at 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Click this link to watch Y-PAC coverage of Dunlop&#8217;s Q&amp;A anytime on-line \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2t9XbEk\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/2t9XbEk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From the age of about 11 I wanted to be a chef,&#8221; Dunlop said during the interview. &#8220;My heart was always in the kitchen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A native of Oxford, England, Dunlop&#8217;s interest in Chinese culture and cuisine began when she was assigned to the Asia Pacific desk as a sub-editor for the BBC.<\/p>\n<p>During the approximately 20-minute sit-down, Dunlop touched on topics ranging from her favorite Chinese dishes to her enjoyment of dining at local Yakima restaurants \u2013 including a lunch of Dungeness Crab Cakes \u2013 during her 2-day stay here. &#8220;I&#8217;ve been very warmly welcomed and well fed,&#8221; Dunlop said of her visit.<\/p>\n<p>She also noted Chinese food is often misunderstood in this country.
