{"id":5949,"date":"2018-06-14T10:23:05","date_gmt":"2018-06-14T17:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=5949"},"modified":"2018-06-14T10:29:13","modified_gmt":"2018-06-14T17:29:13","slug":"tahoma-cemetery-tours-begin-june-19th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/tahoma-cemetery-tours-begin-june-19th\/","title":{"rendered":"Tahoma Cemetery Tours Begin June 19th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The first in a series of 9 free guided walking tours of the City of Yakima&#8217;s historic Tahoma Cemetery is 6:30 pm next Tuesday, June 19<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;color: #333333;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">&#8220;Stroll through the beautiful, park-like setting as you learn about the history of the cemetery and the story of some of those interred within,&#8221; said Parks and Recreation Manager Ken Wilkinson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The other scheduled tours are Sunday, June 24<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 10:00 am; Tuesday, July 10<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 6:30 pm; Sunday, July 29<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 10:00 am; Tuesday, August 14<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 6:30 pm; Sunday, August 26<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 10:00 am; Sunday, September 16<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 1:00 pm; Sunday, October 14<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 1:00 pm; and Sunday, November 4<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at 1:00 pm.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 25 participants per guided tour.
