Council members took the action after a public hearing during their regular meeting on Monday, August 6<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background: white;margin: 0px;color: #36332a;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">The truck route network is intended to concentrate truck traffic to better accommodate truck turning movements, facilitate truck route enforcement, protect residential areas from unnecessary truck traffic, and protect the safety of drivers and pedestrians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background: white;margin: 0px;color: #36332a;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">The City&#8217;s 22 truck routes are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px;color: #36332a;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-style: normal;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"background: white;margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">North\/South 1<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">st<\/span><\/sup> Street from Interstate 82\/Highway 12 Interchange south to City Limits.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px;color: #36332a;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-style: normal;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"background: white;margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">North 5<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> Avenue between Fruitvale Boulevard.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"background: white;margin: 0px;color: #36332a;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Click <a
